Kitchen Assistant for Preschool – Temporary Position 75%

We are currently looking for a kitchen assistant for our preschool for a temporary position of 75% starting immediately and lasting for three months. As a kitchen assistant with us, you play an important role in the children's daily lives and are responsible for ensuring that meals are of good quality and served in a safe and well-organized manner.

The food will be catered, and your tasks will include:

• Portioning and serving meals
• Ensuring daily quality in the kitchen
• Preparing and handling breakfast, lunch, and snacks
• Following routines regarding self-control, hygiene, and food handling
• Washing dishes, cleaning, and maintaining order in the kitchen and dining area
• Making weekly food orders
• Collaborating with educators regarding meals and special diets
• Having a valid extract from the criminal record to present upon employment

We are looking for someone who:

• Is responsible, structured, and meticulous
• Has good collaboration skills and a positive attitude
• Enjoys working in an environment with children
• Has experience in kitchen work and food handling (preferable)

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working as a kitchen assistant, preferably in preschools, schools, or similar environments
• Has relevant education or knowledge in food handling, hygiene, and self-control in the kitchen
• Has a good understanding of routines regarding food safety and quality
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the job requires communication, documentation, and following written routines
• Is meticulous, responsible, and has a structured working method
• Enjoys working both independently and in collaboration with others
