We operate a mountain cabin 1100 meters up in the mountains, located between Jotunheimen and Hardangervidda. We have a total of 52 beds, in rooms for 2, 4, and 6 people. We also have 2 rooms for couples or families with dogs. We are looking for a chef for the summer season (June-September).

Job Description

You will be responsible for the kitchen and prepare meals for all our guests, focusing on local and traditional Norwegian cuisine. Your tasks include:

• Responsible for the kitchen
• Responsible for lunch and dinner service (no à la carte)
• Responsible for HACCP
• Ordering
• Menu planning together with the hosts/managers.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a chef/cook
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Cleanliness and HACCP awareness
• Language: English (higher level) or Norwegian/Scandinavian
