Akershusgruppen is now looking for experienced chefs for several of our restaurants in Tromsø. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in a professional kitchen, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants the opportunity for both professional and personal development – and for the right person, a future leadership responsibility.

About the position

We are primarily looking for trained chefs with solid experience from restaurant kitchens. The role can be adapted according to skills and ambitions – whether you want to work as a specialized à la carte chef or aim to develop into a leading role as a head chef.

For those with leadership qualities, there is an opportunity to take responsibility for the operation and further development of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• À la carte production and service

• Contribute to high quality, structure, and good collaboration in the kitchen

• Shared responsibility for ingredient management and production from scratch

• Opportunity for personnel responsibility and kitchen management for the right candidate

• Participate in the development of menus and concepts

Who are we looking for?

• Professional certification as a chef

• Broad experience from restaurant kitchens

• Structured and quality-conscious

• Good teamwork skills

• Leadership qualities are an advantage (but not a requirement for all positions)

• Ambition to develop – both professionally and potentially towards a leadership role
