The Swedish National Board of Recruitment and Assessment is now looking for psychologists for both permanent positions and temporary contracts.
As a psychologist with us, you will conduct occupational psychological assessments by interviewing, evaluating, and testing individuals liable for total defense during enlistment, as well as those seeking education and employment primarily within the Armed Forces and the Police Authority.
At the assessment units, senior physicians, psychologists, nurses, and administrators work alongside our case officers. In total, we are about 75 colleagues in Stockholm working together to achieve our goals.
We are located in nice premises in Gärdet, Stockholm, close to the subway.
Your Responsibilities
Our working methods are based on scientific principles and proven experience, which means we conduct assessments with high quality to ensure the right person is in the right place with the right responsibility. Competence development occurs continuously through internal training. You will work independently based on our established methods, guidelines, and manuals. At the same time, your work effort is part of a common assessment chain. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy a structured work content.
We continuously work on follow-up and method and operational development. There may be opportunities to contribute and participate in this work.
You may also be required to participate for shorter periods in the agency's operations in other locations.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is:
- a licensed psychologist certified by the National Board of Health and Welfare
It is advantageous if you have experience in:
- conducting clinical assessments
- working with treatment or investigation based on standardized methods
- working with selection
Your Personal Qualities
You have the ability to take responsibility and work meticulously. You have good collaboration skills and work well with those around you. It is important for us that you can act independently in your professional role by making your own assessments and decisions based on them. You have a good ability to communicate and thereby contribute to development.
About the Employment
We offer you a permanent full-time position that begins with a probationary period or a temporary contract lasting 9-12 months.
Due to the nature of the work, you cannot work from home, but we hope that this can instead contribute to a clearer division between work and leisure. We offer you at least 28 days of vacation, up to 35 days depending on age. You will work during the day, have the opportunity to train for 2 hours during work hours per week, and receive a favorable wellness allowance. Employment starts on September 7, 2026, with participation in the Swedish National Board of Recruitment and Assessment's two-week internal training in interview and assessment techniques. To work in the agency, a passing result in the training is required.
A security screening will be conducted for the employment according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act. The employment includes an obligation to be placed in wartime.
