The Role of Care Assistant with Us

Are you ready for an exciting challenge? In this role as a care assistant, you will work entirely through digital means and be part of the future of care. You may also be required to go out and inform about our services in home care groups, so you will have a varied workday. You will be based in an office in central Kungsbacka and support our care recipients via video calls. Your tasks will include:

• administrative work
• meeting our care recipients via video calls
• performing digital interventions such as creating security, social support, supervision, and digital purchases, among others
• documenting in our IT systems
• preparing the tablet loaned to care recipients so that it is ready for digital visits
• building relationships and creating a positive experience in conversations with care recipients

You will work according to a schedule that includes days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Your Profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and attentive to your surroundings, with a focus on the care recipient. You are passionate about new challenges and enjoy being part of developing a new team. You take responsibility and drive your work forward, delivering results while prioritizing your tasks effectively. You are familiar with digital tools and documentation and see opportunities in changes, take initiative, and come up with new approaches to work-related issues. Personal suitability will be highly valued.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained care assistant
• has training in welfare technology or has worked with digital home care
• has experience with digital technology and IT systems within digital home care
• holds a B driver's license for manual transmission
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as it is required in daily work

Digital visits is a newly established small group that provides services via video calls digitally with our care recipients. We work closely with home care staff and other services in Health and Care. We are passionate about meeting our care recipients and creating a good experience in every conversation.

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer two permanent full-time positions with start dates according to agreement.

The position involves work from Monday to Sunday, day and evening shifts, with a workload corresponding to 37 hours per week (100%). The position includes work every other weekend. Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is Control of own data in the criminal record. Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, care assistant is a protected professional title.
