We are looking for

We are looking for you with a Swedish medical license and completed specialist training in psychiatry. You also have a solid interest in our specialty and want to influence the future development of the specialty within the region. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.

This is what you will work with

As a doctor at the clinic, you will be responsible for patient care, perform diagnostics, initiate and evaluate pharmacological treatment, and collaborate with other healthcare providers and units regarding patient treatment and rehabilitation.

At the clinic, a diverse group of competencies collaborates, including medical secretaries, nurses, doctors, caregivers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, etc. We are a large and friendly workgroup that includes both curious newcomers and experienced employees who are happy to share their knowledge. Together, we strive to offer our patients prompt and professional care of high quality.

• Certificate of medical degree from the institution(s) where you completed your basic education. This applies even if you were educated in another EU country or outside the EU
• License certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Specialist certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare

Information about the position

We are looking for a specialist doctor with the possibility of permanent employment. Working hours are scheduled during the day with on-call duties in the evenings and weekends at our emergency psychiatric clinic, Sunderby Hospital, as agreed. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.

The position is within psychiatry: Due to the nature of the operation and safety requirements, applicants to our service must be prepared to provide a criminal record extract.
