The Property Management Department is responsible for the municipality's properties and premises - from maintenance and upkeep to operations, fire protection, local resource planning, and larger construction projects. We are part of the Service sector, along with IT, meals, culture and leisure, and municipal services.

We are currently facing an exciting and expansive period. The need for new and adapted operational premises is increasing, and our investment budget exceeds two billion kronor in the coming years. Here, you will work on projects that are both complex, long-term, and socially significant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of an engaged team of five project managers who together, and individually, drive the municipality's construction projects forward. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire process: from early stages and project development to implementation and completed building.

In addition to project management, you will also:

• Lead and develop effective working methods
• Be responsible for budget and working environment in your projects
• Engage in dialogue with internal and external partners
• Present and advocate matters for the political arena

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with solid experience in leading construction projects and who thrives in a role with both responsibility and collaboration.

We would like you to have:

• Construction engineering education or equivalent competence through work experience
• Several years of experience in construction project management, from early stages to production
• Good understanding of the construction process, construction technology, and project economics
• Knowledge of contract law, preferably with experience in LOU and collaborative contracts
• Familiarity with calculation programs and preferably an interest in digitalization and modern technology
• If you have held a leadership role previously, it is an advantage.
