About the Community Building Administration
The Community Building Administration works comprehensively for sustainable development of the city of Mölndal, urban areas, and rural areas. The administration works purposefully to make Mölndal an attractive, sustainable, and successful city in the region. The Community Building Administration is responsible for the long-term physical planning of the city and builds the sustainable city, based on a holistic view of urban development. The assignment includes, among other things, strategic community planning, comprehensive and detailed planning, plan implementation, as well as management and development of Mölndal's own property portfolio, investment projects, land and exploitation, traffic development, and long-term planning of land and water use. The work takes place in a dynamic and development-oriented environment, where we together create the best conditions for the city's residents and businesses.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you want to contribute to the development of Mölndal's built environment from a long-term and sustainable perspective? We are now looking for a Property Engineer for the property department within the Community Building Administration, where you will play a central role in the work with the city's properties.
We are looking for an engaged and structured Property Engineer in energy who wants to help drive the sustainable energy solutions of the future. You will work strategically and lead projects from start to finish, focusing on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and innovative solutions for our buildings.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for strategic energy efficiency and modernization of technical installations in properties.
- Overall responsibility for project management of energy projects and technical installations.
- Conduct procurement of framework agreements for contractors and FKU (renewed competition).
- Provide proposals for maintenance needs to maintenance planners.
- Plan, lead, and follow up energy projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Coordinate internal and external resources and manage supplier contacts.
- Responsible for risk management, documentation, and reporting.
- Handle authority inspections: procurement, ordering, and control.
- Contribute to the development of the administrations in the energy field.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a university degree or equivalent education in energy, electrical engineering, construction technology, or other relevant experience and education. You have good knowledge of energy systems, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainability issues, as well as an understanding of contract law and the various stages of the construction process. Experience in project management is a requirement, preferably from the energy sector, and certification in project management. AL authorization (General authorization for electrical installations) is considered a plus.
You have a good technical understanding of energy technology, relevant regulations, and standards, and are used to working in digital project tools such as MS Project, Antura, or equivalent. Furthermore, you have basic knowledge of economic calculations and procurement, which enables you to take overall responsibility for the implementation of projects.
To thrive and succeed in the role, you are structured, solution-oriented, and have a strong drive. You are analytical and quality-conscious, with the ability to see connections and prioritize correctly even when multiple projects are ongoing simultaneously. You express yourself well in both speech and writing and find it easy to build trust in collaboration with both internal and external parties. Through your professional and communicative working style, you contribute to effective projects and long-term sustainable solutions.
