Skanska has entered into a collaboration agreement with Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB (SKB) for the expansion of the existing repository for short-lived radioactive waste (SFR) in Forsmark.

The project involves an expansion of the storage space and is expected to be completed by 2030. The expansion of SFR is unique and complex in many ways as it requires collaboration from various technical competencies. By working together, the client and contractor find the specific solutions that are best suited for the project. Teamwork and a willingness to collaborate are key to success.

We are now seeking a project manager for Forsmark, a role that entails significant influence, responsibility, and the opportunity to truly make a difference.

As a project manager, you play a central role in the project's progress; you plan, lead, and control production with overall responsibility for both finances and quality and results. You are part of the project's management team and an important cultural bearer for our collaborative work, both internally and together with the client.

The role includes personnel responsibility for block managers, and you work closely with the project director on strategic and operational issues. Together, you ensure that the project develops in the right direction and meets its goals.

We are looking for someone with a strong drive to achieve results and a good ability to see the big picture and navigate in complex project environments. You are a confident leader with the ability to build teams and make decisions. To succeed in this role, you need to have many years of experience in construction and civil engineering projects and a structured and collaborative working approach.

For this role, you need:

• At least 10 years of experience in construction and civil engineering projects
• University/College education
• Leadership experience
• Experience in financial management
• Driver's license (B)
• Experience in installations is an advantage
