Region Uppsala is characterized by strong growth, and the Property and Service Management is an important part of this. We at Property and Service manage over one billion kronor and have about 400 employees. We develop, manage, and maintain a floor area of over 700,000 square meters, ranging from new advanced healthcare buildings to medieval castles. We also handle transportation and work with logistical solutions within Region Uppsala and are responsible for meal services to inpatients. Most of our customers are in healthcare, and the largest customer is Akademiska sjukhuset. Our Operations

The Operations Department within Property and Service manages the operations of Region Uppsala's property portfolio. The main tasks are supervision, maintenance, and corrective maintenance. About 80 technicians work in Operations, and we are now looking for someone who wants to work with operations, maintenance, and orders focusing on our buildings regarding service repairs and carpentry. Organizationally, you will be part of the Operations Department's construction group. We offer you friendly colleagues and work in a changing environment with steady and sometimes strong technical development.

Your Mission

You will daily start from Akademiska sjukhuset and work with supervision and maintenance, orders, and corrective maintenance of our buildings within the region. You will have the entire county as your work area, although most of the time, Akademiska sjukhuset will be your workplace.

An important part of your role is to work preventively to prevent problems before they arise. As a service technician with us, you will have the opportunity to work independently while becoming an important part of our team. The work is done in collaboration with healthcare staff.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for an independent service carpenter with a genuine interest in the field. Construction technical education and experience are meritorious but not required.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.

Your Competence

You are a careful, social person who enjoys collaborating and helping out. You find it fun to learn new things and develop. You are proactive and do not hesitate to take on tasks when needed.
