Responsibilities

As a Calculator, you will be responsible for the calculation and bidding work at GK throughout the entire bidding process. At GK in Uppsala, you will be part of a team of 3 calculators who work together to develop the calculation function. You will primarily work with local needs and the market while receiving support from your immediate manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Calculate and determine material and labor costs from request for proposal

• Be responsible for the entire bidding process from inquiry to bid

• Prepare calculation sketches/drawings

• Calculate PM and ÄTA for the department

• Participate in bid reviews and contract negotiations as needed

• Monitor price levels as well as various channels and sales forums within the industry

• Conduct site visits

Who are you?

We see that you are a trained engineer or have other relevant experience in VS. We also see that you have more than three years of relevant industry experience. Experience in calculation work is an advantage, preferably with the calculation system Wikells. You need to have good computer skills and experience working in Excel.

It is also advantageous to have competence and experience in finance, design, project development, and writing quotes. We also see it as an asset if you have knowledge of relevant standards and other contractual forms and experience in project economics.
