Senior Project Manager for Advanced Investment Projects

Do you want to lead advanced investment projects in a high-tech production environment where you play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery? We are now looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who wants to take full responsibility for larger investment projects and work closely with technology, production, and business development in an international organization.

About the Position

You will belong to the project office for investment projects (PMO), which is responsible for driving larger investment projects related to production facilities and technical infrastructure. The projects include the introduction of new manufacturing equipment for new products, replacement of existing equipment and production lines, as well as the installation of new technology and new processes to meet environmental and occupational safety requirements. Projects often run over a longer period and involve several internal and external stakeholders.

This is a consulting assignment via Poolia with an estimated start in early March. The assignment is expected to last for about a year, with the possibility of extension.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the overall execution of the project, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and coordination. You lead project teams, coordinate resources, and ensure that the project is executed according to set goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and be responsible for larger investment projects (CAPEX) from planning to commissioning
• Be responsible for the project's finances, including budget, forecasts, and follow-up
• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on project activities, resources, and timelines
• Lead project teams and ensure effective collaboration between different functions
• Be responsible for procurement and dialogue with suppliers and external parties
• Ensure the execution of FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning
• Report project status to steering groups and management
• Contribute to the development and improvement of working methods and routines within the project operations

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent, as well as several years of experience working as a Senior Project Manager. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and are accustomed to working in Windows-based system environments.

Experience as a Senior Project Manager within Life Science, particularly in process installations such as tanks, pipes, and control systems, as well as experience in property modifications, is advantageous. Certification in project management is also a plus.

As a person, you work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner, with the ability to drive work forward and handle complex tasks. You are a clear communicator and have good collaboration skills, while also contributing to the development and improvement of working methods within the organization. You also have a technical interest and a good understanding of technical processes.
