We are now looking for a highly experienced and confident individual for a long-term assignment in civil engineering and construction. The role is suitable for you who have worked closely with production in larger infrastructure projects and who thrives in a coordinating, structuring, and driving role with significant responsibility.

The assignment involves working as a consultant providing close support to project management in several parallel projects within road and construction. You will become a central function for collaboration, risk management, follow-up, and handover, and work operationally throughout the projects' lifecycle – from planning and procurement to production and completion.

Duration of the assignment:

This is a long-term consulting assignment with a planned start in spring 2026 and a duration until at least the end of 2029, with a good possibility of full occupancy throughout the entire period.

About the role

In the role of Coordinating BPU, you will among other things:

• Support project management in planning, control, and follow-up of projects in production
• Coordinate specialists and ensure a holistic perspective in the projects
• Actively work with risk management, finance, schedules, and forecasts
• Review and follow up the preparation of tender documents and road plans
• Participate in procurement of contracts and consulting services
• Work with collaboration between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Follow up on work environment, traffic impact, and progress during construction
• Contribute to final documentation and handover to operations and maintenance
• Prepare status reports and decision-making materials
• Function as an experienced sounding board in both strategic and operational matters

The assignment is consultative but integrated into the organization, with high demands on professionalism, integrity, and collaboration skills.

Workplace and setup

• Stationing location: Uppsala
• The work is mainly on-site, with elements of travel within the region
• Normal working hours during the day, full-time
• The assignment requires travel for work

Mandatory requirements

To be considered, you must meet all the requirements below:

• High school education with a technical focus or equivalent competence
• At least 8 years of experience in construction operations
• At least 4 years of experience in a role as project manager, assistant project manager, site manager, or construction manager
• Experience from at least two road projects in the production phase over 100 MSEK
• Experience from projects that included structures
• Experience in preparing tender documents for execution contracts over 100 MSEK
• Experience working with road plans in larger projects
• Documented experience in risk management in larger infrastructure projects
• Documented experience in collaboration in larger projects
• Documented experience in handover of larger construction projects
• Good knowledge of AMA, MER, as well as AB04, ABT06, and ABK09
• Experience with quality and environmental management systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B
• Completed and valid BAS-P and BAS-U (max 5 years old)
• Completed APV training
• Access to a personal car (we will of course pay mileage compensation)

• Experience with complex projects in traffic-intensive environments
• Ability to quickly adapt to new organizations and working methods
• Strong communication skills and experience managing many stakeholders
• Experience working closely with client organizations
