About the job

We are looking for a competent and secure nurse for night shifts in municipal primary care.

As an employee in Öckerö home healthcare, you will feel welcome! Our work is characterized by a familial and positive atmosphere where we are generous with both our expertise and our time towards each other. The work is varied as we, in addition to regular municipal primary care, are also responsible for all palliative care and advanced home healthcare within the home healthcare framework. We are responsible for about 300 patients on our ten islands, residing in special housing BMSS, and in ordinary housing.

Job responsibilities

As a nurse in municipal primary care, you will work alone at night, which requires confidence in your professional role. The night colleagues are care staff who turn to you for both medical assessment/consultation and as a supervisor.

Your responsibilities include, in addition to health and medical care tasks, advising and mentoring care staff, delegations, family contacts, and a general responsibility to develop municipal health and medical care for individuals within municipal primary care together with the relevant parties. We work with digital signing of medications and have the ability to document our efforts mobile. We are developing our work with digital meetings and assessments that facilitate our work. We are also part of Collaborative Healthcare, where the nurse goes on 1177 assignments and assistance assignments as time allows. IVPA (waiting for ambulance) is currently performed during the day and evening but is also planned to be introduced at night. We move between the islands using a boat with a skipper. Some trips may work with ferries.

Qualifications/Education

• Registered nurse. Experience in municipal primary care is an advantage.
• The job requires you to independently overview, prioritize, and execute your tasks.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language to document according to the Health and Medical Services Act.
• Driving license B
