JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

About the position

As a property engineer in security systems, you are responsible for developing, quality-assuring, and following up on the city's technical installations within locks, alarms, access control systems, camera surveillance, fire alarm systems, and low current. The role is central to ensuring safety, quality, and long-term functionality in our properties.

Job tasks

• Develop and maintain the city's technical requirements and guidelines for security systems.
• Review technical documents before and after contract procurement.
• Support project managers and project actors throughout the construction process as a specialist. Ensure quality in contracts and follow up on service and operational agreements.
• Ensure that the systems meet legal requirements, standards, and customer needs.
• Contribute to the development of long-term maintenance plans for technical installations. Provide technical support during design and procurement.
• Follow up on finances, procurements, and perform orders and invoice controls.
• Be the contact person for consultants and contractors.
• Provide specialist support to employees in the property department and other functions within city maintenance.
• Conduct security analyses and risk assessments by developing solutions for fire alarms, burglary alarms, access control systems, camera surveillance, and sometimes integrated security platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

Do you want to help strengthen the security of the city's properties? We are looking for a property engineer responsible for technical security systems, where you will drive development, quality assurance, and follow-up of installations such as locks, alarms, and camera surveillance.

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree or vocational education as a security engineer, or equivalent competence acquired through comparable experience. You have good knowledge of contract law and the various stages of the construction process, as well as experience in procurement and review of technical documents, which enables you to contribute throughout the entire process from planning to implementation and follow-up.

You have deep technical knowledge in security systems such as fire alarms, locks and burglary alarms, access control systems, and camera surveillance. Knowledge of low current is advantageous and seen as a valuable complement in the role. You have the ability to analyze technical requirements and ensure that solutions meet both functional and regulatory requirements.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you are structured and meticulous with good problem-solving skills. You are communicative and collaborative, with experience working together with various actors and professional roles. At the same time, you are independent and take responsibility for your tasks with a professional and quality-conscious work approach.
