JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Signal Technician at Infranord, you will encounter an exciting, varied, fun, and social job. You will spend a large part of your day outdoors with your work team and in collaboration with other colleagues. Your work varies between new construction, inspection, and troubleshooting of the signaling system in our railway environment. Much of the work is done digitally, and documentation of controls and fault reports is included in your tasks.

The position involves maintenance work on the Swedish Transport Administration's facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Approved high school education with a focus on Electrical or Signal Technology
• Approved basic signal training BSG1
• Professional experience in signaling work within the railway sector
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Driving license B

It is advantageous if you have:

• Electrical Safety Leader; track work, work equipment, and track vehicles, low and extra-low voltage
• Safety and Security Leader (SOS Leader)
• Supervisor (TSM) for A-, L-, E- protection and road watch
• Approved signal training BSG2
• SISÄ authorization
• Knowledge of various relay or computer-based signal control systems (e.g., model 59, 65, 85, 95, etc.)
• ATC equipment and system functions (BSATC), preferably experience from ERTMS
• Experience working on a maintenance contract/troubleshooting previously

You have the opportunity to be flexible as travel, on-call duty from home, as well as weekend and night work may occur.
