Project Manager at the Technical and Service Office

In this role, you will belong to the project unit at the Technical and Service Office. The project unit currently consists of three project and construction managers. The unit is responsible for the design and construction management of infrastructure projects as well as the management of the municipality's bridges, tunnels, and lighting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role includes planning, coordinating, and executing projects within investigation, design, and construction. The tasks include everything from procurement and management to finance and quality assurance. You will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

As a Construction and Design Manager, you will be responsible for:

• procurement of consultants for investigations.
• procurement of consultants for the design of public facilities, roads, and water and sewage.
• procurement of contractors for implementation.
• being the construction and design manager.
• financial and quality assurance of projects.
• being a link in collaboration between the departments within the administration and with other stakeholders.
• being involved in the drafting of the department's matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university degree in civil engineering or equivalent, or has work experience that the employer assesses to correspond to the educational level.
• at least 5 years of work experience in similar tasks.
• experience in construction and design management for public facilities, roads, and water and sewage.
• experience working in a politically governed organization.
• good knowledge of financial and quality assurance of projects.
• good knowledge of contract and consultant law.
• good knowledge of AMA construction and MER construction.
• a valid driver's license (B).

We consider it an advantage if you have good experience with LOU (the Public Procurement Act).

We are looking for someone who is unpretentious with a strong sense of service. You have good collaboration skills, can take initiative, and adopt a flexible approach. You are confident in your professional role and can handle conflicts of interest. You can make correct assessments and prioritize in accordance with decisions and the overall needs of the organization. You contribute with a strategic overview, have excellent communication skills, and are used to speaking in public.
