We are now looking for staff for a parental leave position at Arlanda. If you want to be part of the work and ensure the level of service and atmosphere required to operate a top-class airport, this is the job for you!

What does the role entail? The tasks include minor construction and maintenance work on roads, parking lots, and landscaping. For example, scraping gravel parking areas, repairing minor damage to asphalt and concrete, fixing railings, putting up and changing posts and signs. There will also be clearing of brush, weeding, loading and unloading, and minor transportation tasks. The unit's work is an important part of how the airport is perceived since the external areas are the first thing customers encounter at the airport. The role is called Operations Technician at Swedavia. The position is temporary from February 28 to August 2026. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM.

Who are you? You are a flexible person who can handle varied tasks - from operation and maintenance of surfaces, machines, and tools to cleaning and upkeep of the airport. You are an engaged and driven employee with experience or knowledge in construction, maintenance, and/or landscaping. If this sounds like you, this could be the job for you!

You need to have a C driver's license. To thrive and succeed in this role, you should have a strong sense of service and a genuine interest in working with loaders.

We would like you to:

• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Be able to communicate in basic English.

• Be a flexible person who can handle varied tasks – from snow removal to cleaning and other assignments at the airport.
