Your Tasks

We are now looking for a dedicated workshop technician with welding skills to Alfa Laval in Flemingsberg, who wants to work in a prototype workshop and be involved in the entire process – from idea to finished product.

In this role, you will primarily work with TIG welding and assembly of process pipes in stainless steel for test rigs. Other welding methods such as MIG/MAG and MMA may be used as needed. In addition, you will work in a prototype workshop with machining, where you will manufacture and adapt prototype parts using lathes, milling machines, or CNC. You will be an important part of a dedicated team of 12 people, where the competencies range from electricians to engineers, and each role is crucial to the whole.

The position is full-time, located in Flemingsberg, with working hours from 08:00 to 16:30, starting immediately.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in welding and workshop work, preferably combined with machining and prototype manufacturing. You master welding methods (primarily TIG) and have a good understanding of reading technical drawings and materials. You also have experience with some form of machining method, such as milling, turning, or CNC.

We value accuracy, safety awareness, and flexibility. As a person, you are a team player who enjoys varied tasks and problem-solving.
