PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

As a Production Coordinator at the Swedish Armed Forces Central Warehouse (FMCL), you will have a role where you work closely with operations and drive improvements that affect our entire logistics chain – in peace, crisis, and war. You will be a key person in creating structure, flow stability, and quality in an organization that is growing and modernizing.

About us

You will work at FMLOG Supply, which procures, stores, maintains, and decommissions supplies for the Armed Forces. Logistics must be efficient and ensure high availability of all types of supplies throughout Sweden, meaning that production, planning, and customer support are also important parts of our work.

The Swedish Armed Forces Central Warehouse (FMCL) is part of FMLOG Supply, creating opportunities for the Armed Forces by receiving and delivering materials on time and with high quality. Through knowledge of how materials should be received, stored, maintained, delivered, and decommissioned, we contribute to making the Armed Forces' operations possible.

In your role, you will influence how working methods, processes, and routines develop to contribute to the Armed Forces' operational effectiveness.

Main responsibilities:

As a production coordinator, you will have varied tasks aimed at creating good conditions for improving and supporting both daily and long-term operations. You will create clear, easily understandable, and visually structured presentation materials that effectively support communication and decision-making. You are responsible for systematically identifying and implementing improvement work within warehouse operations and our interfaces, from idea and implementation to documentation and follow-up. Your tasks also include compiling, analyzing, and leading work regarding the department's assignments, which requires good analytical and administrative skills. You work closely with daily operations while also developing the structure and methods behind it.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Very good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Very good ability to express oneself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • Driver's license with at least category B (manual)
  • Education in warehousing and logistics or acquired knowledge through work experience that the employer deems equivalent

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge of the Armed Forces' operations and materials.
  • Experience with Astro and automation systems.
  • Experience with the SAP business system (PRIO).
  • Experience working in security services.
  • Experience working with ISO standard 9120.

Other:

Employment type: Permanent position (full-time) starting with a 6-month probationary period.

Work location: Arboga. Travel is included in the position.
