The Role

We are now looking for an operations manager for our team in Hallstahammar. The position is a full-time temporary role starting in April and lasting until December 2026.

As an operations manager, you will be the hub of our daily operations. You are responsible for ensuring the depot operates efficiently, that our drivers have the best conditions to perform their tasks, and that our vehicles are in top condition. You will lead and develop staff, plan traffic, and ensure high service to our customers, both in service traffic and ordered traffic.

You have personnel responsibility and are responsible for:

• Leading, motivating, and developing the employees at the depot
• Planning routes and following up to ensure traffic and bookings work
• Engaging in dialogue with customers, drivers, and orderers
• Following up on sick leave, rehabilitation, and workplace environment issues
• Conducting employee interviews and recruitment as needed
• Ensuring that vehicles are maintained properly
• Being responsible for equipment

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in leadership and personnel responsibility, preferably from the transport industry
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and used to handling many issues simultaneously
• Enjoys working both operationally and strategically
• Is a good communicator and easily builds relationships
• Has a D driver's license (required, as some bus driving may occur in the role)
• Preferably has a valid YKB
