About the Position

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Inventory Planner for an industrial client in Västerås. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, high inventory accuracy, and efficient material flows throughout the organization. Your contribution is crucial for production planning, purchasing, and the overall delivery capability in the supply chain.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and reconcile inventory levels across all storage locations.
• Plan and follow up on regular inventories and participate in the annual inventory.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing material flows in collaboration with warehouse and production teams.
• Update ERP/MRP systems with accurate and current inventory data.
• Contribute to improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and material handling.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, and logistics on inventory-related issues.

Who Are You?

• Experience in inventory management, inventory control, or a similar role within the industry.
• Good understanding of material flows, inventory processes, and inventory economics.
• Familiarity with working in ERP/MRP systems.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
