About the role

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those who live with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you play a key role in a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist who work closely together.

About Villa Hertig Knut

The elderly care home Villa Hertig Knut is suitable for you who appreciate and want to experience the Halland culture. This is the profile of the residence that is reflected in both activities and interiors. The color scheme indoors, the furnishings, and the decorations have been inspired by the Halmstad Group.

The Halland culture is at the center of Villa Hertig Knut, for example regarding activities, decor, and food. On each floor, there is a photo wallpaper by an artist from the Halmstad Group. The units are colored, furnished, and decorated based on these photo wallpapers.

The pleasant atmosphere is felt immediately upon entering the entrance where you are greeted by the beautiful color scheme and a nice seating area. Directly to the left is the central gathering place for our residents, relatives, and staff. There is a large and beautiful photo wallpaper by Erik Olsson.

• Dementia certification: We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and response through the Dementia Academy.

• Needs-based wish schedule: We apply a needs-based wish schedule. This means that you as an employee have the opportunity to influence your own working hours, based on needs and wishes. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.

• Young Care: We have a collaboration with the company Young Care. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Young Care does various activities together with us who work here, to enhance the experience for the residents.

• Group managers: You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operation. This can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

• Animals in care: Here we work with animals in care and we have regular visits from therapy animals.

Your experience and knowledge

We guess that you who are applying to us:

- are attracted to a job that is varied and requires extensive knowledge of care and support but also a talent for meeting people in different situations.

- are a creative person who dares to think independently and take responsibility.

- enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant/care assistant or have equivalent experience in elderly care.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
