About the Restaurant

Restaurant Dagab operates on behalf of the grocery chain Dagab in Bålsta, serving around 60 breakfast guests and about 120 lunch guests on-site each day. You will work in a team of 5 people. At Restaurant Dagab, both employees and the business have great opportunities for development, and as a Restaurant Assistant, you will play an important role. We are currently in a phase of change and are looking for someone ready to help shape the restaurant of the future together with Sodexo. The restaurant operates according to “EAT by Sodexo”, a concept that places special emphasis on health and the environment. Well-prepared food from many parts of the world is on the menu, with each dish climate-marked to allow guests to make conscious and climate-smart choices.

Are you our new Restaurant Assistant?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and service but is tired of constant evening and weekend work. Here we can guarantee you one thing - no day will be the same. Your tasks will include various common restaurant duties, such as:

• Cash register
• Serving/Portioning
• Washing/cleaning the premises
• Handling orders
• Responsible for daily operations in the restaurant
• Fruit and catering delivery within the house

For this role, we would like you to have:

• High social competence and be a team player
• Passion for food, service, and sustainability
• At least three years of professional experience or education in hotel/restaurant
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Experience with cash handling
• Proactive and goal-oriented
• Representable and be a good ambassador for our company
• You like to take responsibility and share our values.

Employment Type and Working Hours:

Part-time (50%) with a great chance of increased hours, daytime Monday to Friday, evenings and weekends may occur. Regular working hours are between 06:00-16:00.
