Uppsala's largest hotel, close to sports arenas and the E4 highway, is now seeking an Assistant Breakfast Manager who wants to help develop our breakfast operations together with an engaged team. About the role

As the Assistant Breakfast Manager, you are the right hand of the Breakfast Manager and a natural leader in the daily operations. You work operationally in the breakfast service, lead the work on-site, and ensure that everything runs smoothly from the first cup of coffee to the last guest.

You will help drive the business forward, support colleagues in their daily tasks, and take on more responsibility when the Breakfast Manager is not present. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and truly make a difference.

Your responsibilities

• Be a present leader in the daily operations of the breakfast service
• Ensure that the breakfast buffet is inviting, well-stocked, and of high quality
• Actively work in the service alongside the team
• Plan purchases, receive deliveries, and ensure the right quality and quantity
• Work with structure, flow, and minimizing waste
• Participate in preparations for lunch, conference catering, and simple cooking
• Ensure that hygiene routines and food safety are followed
• Contribute to a positive work environment where it is fun to go to work

Who are you?

You are a positive and engaged person who thrives in a role with responsibility. You enjoy working closely with both guests and colleagues, are solution-oriented, and can easily remain calm even when the pace is high. Taking initiative and helping others comes naturally to you.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in breakfast service, preferably from hotels
• Experience leading or supporting colleagues in daily work
• A strong service focus and an eye for detail
• Good physical endurance and enjoys a mobile job
• Ability to communicate in Swedish and English

Meritorious

• Experience from a similar role
• Education in hotel and restaurant management
• Knowledge of HACCP
• Experience with the hotel system Jupiter

Practical information

• Position: 70 % with a 6-month probationary period
• Start date: by agreement
• Working hours: early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Agreement: HRF, Hotel and Restaurant Union
• Salary according to agreement
