Exciting Summer Job as a Meal Assistant in Heby Municipality

The Role

We are looking for summer substitutes who can work as meal assistants in our various kitchens within the Nutrition Unit in Heby Municipality, during regular employees' vacations.

• You will work with cooking and kitchen tasks. You prepare nutritious, delicious, and appealing meals, both traditional Swedish dishes and more modern recipes.
• Dishes, cleaning, and other tasks in the kitchen are included.
• You will have close contact and collaborate with care and preschool staff, contributing to a positive and service-oriented work environment.

About Us

We within the Nutrition Unit in Heby Municipality have operations throughout the municipality. We work weekdays and weekends (daytime). We are passionate about our meal guests and their well-being, we have fun at work, enjoy collaborating, and together we develop.

Is This You?

• You who are applying have training as a meal assistant/cook and/or work experience in large kitchens.
• You have good knowledge of HACCP and special diets.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
• Basic computer skills for digital orders.
• Available to work the entire summer, weeks 25-32.
• Driver's license B is desirable as food transport may occur in the job.

We want you to be able to complete your introduction before week 25, and we would like you to start working in a part-time position earlier.
