Storumans municipality is looking for an engaged and structured project engineer who wants to help develop our community infrastructure. The role involves being responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up of projects and contracts within the municipality's operations. The focus is on projects related to water and sewage (VA), which may include the construction of waterworks, sewage treatment plants, as well as the replacement and renewal of VA pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects from idea to completion.
• Establish project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Be responsible for procurement and contact with contractors.
• Ensure that projects comply with applicable laws, regulations, and the municipality's guidelines.
• Participate in design meetings and follow up on contract work.
• Contribute to the development of routines and methods within project management.

Qualifications

• Engineering education in construction, civil engineering, VA technology, experience in project management, and contract law is an advantage.
• Knowledge of VA systems and construction processes is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a structured, independent, and team-oriented manner.
• Driver's license (B) is required.
