At Tommy Nordbergh Åkeri, we are looking for a traffic manager with solid experience in traffic management, preferably with geographical knowledge and planning from Skåne to the West Coast/Gothenburg. We seek a traffic manager who is passionate about maintaining a close and clear relationship with their employees and team, and who truly enjoys leading.

Working as a traffic manager with us means that you, together with other traffic managers, lead and plan the daily transports, which mainly consist of domestic, temperature-controlled local and long-distance transports. As a traffic manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations. The job involves introducing new drivers, optimizing vehicles, and monitoring drivers' schedules and working hours. The importance of having good dialogue with colleagues and drivers, as well as following laws and regulations, is self-evident to us. The work involves some customer contact and follow-up on completed assignments. The position includes some scheduled on-call duty. About you

We are looking for someone who is responsible and has leadership experience in the industry, as you need to have a good understanding of the customer's operations and the driver's working situation. You are flexible, stress-resistant, and have a holistic view, which means you are also used to maintaining a good level of service in a fast-paced work environment. You possess leadership qualities, problem-solving skills, social competence, and find it easy to collaborate with others. For this position

For this specifically advertised position, there is a strong focus on teamwork and leadership. Daily contact with drivers for guidance, planning, and achieving the goals set for the assignment.

Competence requirements

• Experience from the transport industry
• Solid experience in traffic management or transport planning
• High school diploma
• Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• Good computer skills, Office package.

Meritorious

• CE driver's license and experience from domestic long-distance transports and handling of food products.
• Post-secondary education in logistics or traffic management.
• Experience with TransPA and T5.
• Multilingual
