The Råå Health Center is located in the southern part of Helsingborg, just a stone's throw from the sea, with good train and bus connections. We have over 50 employees who take care of our 11,400 registered patients. We offer these patients a wide range of clinics in diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, elderly care, and district nurse clinics, as well as a child health center. We also strive for all patients to have their own named doctor, and that patients with chronic illnesses are regularly called from a waiting list for visits. This is to ensure good and quality care for our patients.

All staff groups work transprofessionally and in teams, and the doors are always open for collegial questions and discussions. We have a short morning meeting every day to keep everyone updated on what is happening in the organization. Furthermore, we always strive to develop and continuously work to improve our operations. Today, we have seven specialist doctors in general medicine, six ST doctors, and AT doctors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of ST doctor, you will have an exciting and challenging job with good conditions for broad training within the specialty. Your training will be tailored in consultation with your supervisor to make it as optimal and interesting as possible. You will work with common tasks such as planned and acute doctor visits, serve as a consulting physician for nurses, supervise students, and participate in rounds for assessment and triage.

The doctors at the health center have different areas of responsibility such as child health and rounds at our nursing homes, which is part of your training. Furthermore, collaborative cases with the municipality and other authorities are also included. Today, we have nine specialist doctors in general medicine, five ST doctors, and AT and BT doctors.

A permanent position as an ST doctor may be preceded by a fixed-term position as a junior doctor for a period of three to six months in accordance with regional guidelines for the appointment of ST doctor positions within primary care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Regarding formal requirements, you need to have completed AT or BT and be a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare, as well as have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

You are meticulous, secure, and stable, and consider patients based on their different needs. Furthermore, you are attentive, empathetic, and have a positive attitude. You also have a good approach towards both patients and colleagues. You show great commitment to your work and find it easy to collaborate, as well as enjoy having a variety of tasks. We would like you to, just like us, have an interest in working with development and improvement. You feel comfortable and secure in your role as a doctor and share your knowledge selflessly with colleagues in different professional groups, as well as with any students and training doctors.
