We at Norlandia Elderly Care are looking for you who are a care assistant/nursing assistant and who want to work full-time/part-time during all or part of the summer at Slottsovalens elderly home in Gustavsberg on Värmdö. As a care assistant/nursing assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their later years. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on the healthy aspects. As a care assistant/nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the individual needs of the elderly. Typical tasks may include assisting with daily care, administering medication, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. A very exciting job, indeed!

Slottsovalen is a small, cozy elderly home in a beautiful archipelago setting, with the sea right at the doorstep. Our focus is on dementia care, and we have 40 places. The facility is on one level, and our fantastic inner courtyard allows for outdoor activities year-round. As a summer temp with us, you will have access to Cappy – a smart app that gives you an overview of your working hours and salary. In the app, you can see worked hours, earned salary, preliminary salary payments, information about available shifts, and how much you can earn from an extra shift. With Cappy, there is also the possibility to withdraw part of the earned salary for extra shifts/hourly shifts immediately after completing a shift.

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is an advantage if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.

• Previous experience in elderly care is highly meritorious.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

• We would also like you to have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
