ValueOne is looking for a Production Planner for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Ludvika. The assignment starts in February and runs for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

About the role

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for planning and controlling the production of assigned products to ensure that the right materials, capacity, and resources are available to meet the company's delivery targets. The role is operational and involves close collaboration with several internal functions in a dynamic production environment.

• Plan, control, and follow up on production for specific products or product groups.
• Ensure availability of materials, capacity, and resources in production.
• Manage and plan production orders and allocate work orders to machines and production lines.
• Continuously monitor and adjust production planning in response to changes or deviations.
• Handle delivery, quality, and capacity-related challenges.
• Prepare, update, and maintain planning and production documentation.
• Actively contribute to improvement work and cost-effective solutions.

Experience and skills

We are looking for someone with experience in a planning role within the manufacturing industry. To succeed in this role, you must be proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have a good understanding of production flows, capacity planning, and material management. It is advantageous if you have a degree in economics, supply chain, industrial engineering, or equivalent, as well as experience working in business systems.
