Palliative medicine involves work within specialized palliative home care, which means providing care focused on alleviating symptoms and maintaining quality of life physically, psychologically, socially, and existentially. We are present in 5 locations: Sollefteå, Örnsköldsvik, Härnösand, Sundsvall, and Ånge.
The Palliative Medicine unit is located at Hälsocentralen Ankaret in Örnsköldsvik. The team consists of a total of 3 full-time employed nurses with a pleasant and friendly work community. The work involves standard nursing tasks. We work together with doctors and care for patients at home. The role includes working independently, being flexible, and collaborating both within and outside the team as well as with relatives. We offer a free, responsible job with nice colleagues.
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting on 2026-04-01 or by agreement. Place of employment is Örnsköldsvik.

- Caring for patients at home as well as specialized palliative care at home
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed nurse with specialist training
- Has at least 5 years of work experience as a nurse
- Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
- Has good knowledge of English in speech and writing
- Has a valid driver's license (B)
It is an advantage if you:
- Are a trained district nurse
- Have work experience as a nurse in palliative home care
