Huset vid Stranden operates three established restaurants - Papas, Pepes Bodega, Mamas Italian - as well as the LOFT nightclub in the heart of Båstad. With us, quality, flavors, and personality meet in a lively and relaxed environment. During the summer, the pace increases significantly – the tempo is high and the guests are many.

We work with professional pride, team spirit, and a strong commitment to the overall experience for our guests. Huset vid Stranden is part of the GRAM Group along with Hotel Skansen, Torekov Hotell, Hotel Riviera Strand, and Pavo. Together, we represent three distinctive hotels and several restaurants in an outstanding destination in Båstad & on the Bjäre Peninsula.

About the position

The position is a seasonal part-time employment starting April 1st. Working hours vary depending on the business's opening hours. Day, evening, and weekend work may occur. Flexibility and a positive attitude are therefore crucial.

Your main responsibilities

• Take care of guests both at tables and over the bar
• Actively guide guests with food and beverage recommendations
• Provide good service to both guests and colleagues
• Handle orders at the cash register and coordinate with other colleagues and the kitchen
• Open and close the restaurant with colleagues, including dishwashing and cleaning

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is over 18 years old
• Has previous experience in serving in a restaurant or café
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has bar knowledge and previous experience with à la carte service, not required but meritorious

The Restaurants

Restaurant Papas is an à la carte restaurant right by the beach in Båstad that is open year-round, with the summer months being peak season. The kitchen prepares food from scratch using local ingredients with inspiration from the Mediterranean, the wine list is extensive, and the atmosphere is personal and lively.

Mamas Italian is an Italian meeting place in Båstad harbor. Coffee, pastries & lunch are served in a warm atmosphere. During the summer months, simpler summer dinners are also offered.

Pepes Bodega is a relaxed restaurant and bar where summer never ends. The menu consists of pizza, burgers, and small dishes from all over the world. Drinks are served in pitchers with playful elements, and the service is quick. At Pepes Bodega, it's vacation all year round!
