We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to person-centered care and symptom relief. You are confident in facing both medical and emotional challenges in your work and have the ability to create safety and trust with patients and relatives. The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and 2 out of 5 weekends. The position is a full-time summer temporary position starting on 2026-06-01 or by agreement until 2026-08-31.

Nurse for the Oncology Clinic, Ward 27B, Sundsvall Summer 2026

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with current guidelines.
• Working with symptom relief and supportive care for patients at various stages of their cancer.
• Meeting patients at different stages of their cancer, i.e., in curative intention, palliative phase, and also end-of-life care.
• Collaborating with doctors, nursing assistants, and other professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintaining close cooperation with patients and their relatives to create safety and understanding regarding the care plan.
• Participating in development work and contributing to improving care in the department.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
