Sports Facility Caretaker Wanted in Habo Municipality

We are now looking for someone who wants to work within Habo Municipality as a sports facility caretaker at our indoor and outdoor facilities.

The Culture and Leisure Administration is responsible for the municipality's recreational facilities such as sports facilities, exercise tracks, hiking trails, and bathing areas. We are a small administration that works with great commitment and heart for the operations.

The position is placed within the Culture and Leisure Service unit of the Culture and Leisure Administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a caretaker, you will participate in the operation and maintenance of the municipality's sports, outdoor, and recreational facilities both indoors and outdoors. The job includes scheduled on-call duty every 4th week with some evening and weekend work during the year when activities are conducted in the sports halls.

Evening and weekend work also occurs at other times during the year, e.g., during larger events organized by Habo Municipality, snow removal, and ice rink maintenance.

In your role, you will work in the operations together with colleagues and a supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in similar work and working with machines, vehicles, and motor equipment is an advantage.

We are a small administration with a large area of responsibility, and you are expected to step in and work where needed and adapt to new situations and guidelines.

We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

A driver's license (B) is required, preferably with an extended entitlement B96 or .
