We are now looking for a nurse who wants to work day, evening, and weekend shifts for Ward 67!

Description

Ward 67 is a general psychiatric acute care ward that belongs to NU Healthcare's psychiatric clinic.

We primarily focus on withdrawal treatment for patients with substance abuse issues. The ward is staffed by nurses, caregivers, and doctors.

You will be an important link in creating continuity and security for this patient group and serve as a resource for colleagues regarding substitution treatment. The assignment is carried out within the framework of the regular ward work. The clinic also employs a social worker who divides their workday between NÄL's three psychiatric wards. Our ward is currently engaged in improvement work and care process development.

Responsibilities

Standard nursing tasks – rounds, medication management, sample collection, wound dressing, administering injections, EKG, observations and assessments, as well as evaluations and actions for acute and non-acute somatic conditions.

Supervision to varying degrees.

Contact person for one or more patients together with one or two colleagues. As a contact person, you are responsible for everything regarding your patient's care and for planning interventions together with the patient and others in the team.

Qualifications

Registered nurse. You need to be a responsible person with empathy, commitment, and a good ability to work in a team. Previous experience in psychiatric care is an advantage but not a requirement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Interviews may be conducted continuously during the application period.
