Habilitation is specialized health care for children and adolescents with autism, intellectual disabilities, mobility impairments, or acquired brain injuries. We provide health-promoting and therapeutic interventions based on each individual's unique needs and circumstances, and we have specialist knowledge of how disabilities can affect daily life, health, and development.

Responsibilities

As a speech therapist within Habilitation, you will work with speech, language, communication, oral motor skills, and difficulties with eating, swallowing, and drinking. Your responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, provision of assistive devices, and a significant amount of consultation with parents and staff. The work is characterized by variation and involves working in a team around the child/adolescent. The work takes place in the habilitation's facilities and based on the needs in the patient's immediate environment.

Qualifications

You should be a licensed speech therapist and have experience with children and adolescents with disabilities. Experience working in habilitation is highly meritorious. Collaboration skills, flexibility, and a good attitude are essential for us, so great importance is placed on personal suitability. The position involves travel, so a B driver's license is required.
