About the job

You will work with system development in an agile development team where you collectively take responsibility for the team's deliveries while considering the bigger picture and contributing to a well-functioning society. You will engage in problem-solving and write code that matters to many. The team is cross-functional, and there is an opportunity to contribute and participate in various tasks. We are currently undergoing a system renewal where we are implementing modern technology and developing our architecture. The development environment includes Red Hat OCP, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and React.

You will belong to a competent team in the IT department located in Östersund, where we have about 110 employees. In January 2024, we moved into newly produced premises on Campus.

About you

To do a good job and thrive with us at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be attentive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In this job, you should:

  • express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

You should also have:

  • at least 12 months of relevant work experience in system development
  • current university or college education in IT of at least 180 higher education credits
  • experience in system development from your studies with courses of at least 30 credits in programming

Good to know

The employment is permanent and begins with a probationary period of six months.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
