Café Manager for Grand Café

We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated café manager for Grand Café, a summer oasis located at Södra Blasieholmshamnen with a fantastic view of Stockholm's waters and boating life. As part of Grand Hôtel, our café offers an inviting atmosphere for both locals and tourists during the season, which runs from May to September.

Our outdoor seating area is known for its comfortable sofas and colorful umbrellas, and we are now seeking a driven individual who can lead and manage the daily operations of the café. Working hours are scheduled according to a rotating schedule every day of the week between 09:00 and 19:00.

About the role As café manager, you play a key role in ensuring a high level of service and a well-functioning operation. You will be responsible for:

• Daily operations and planning of the café's activities

• Supervision and support of the staff

• Quality assurance of service and product offerings

• Cash handling and basic administrative tasks

• Ordering and inventory management

• Creating a pleasant and efficient working environment for the team

• Ensuring that the café is clean, tidy, and inviting for our guests

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working in a café or restaurant, preferably as a café manager or shift leader

• Good knowledge of barista work and cash systems

• Experience in leadership or responsibility for a small team

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive the business forward

• A natural sense of service and hospitality

• Flexibility and willingness to work throughout the summer season

• Availability to work mornings, days, evenings, and weekends – scheduled working hours may vary
