Are you ready to take full business responsibility and drive a portfolio focused on profitable growth? Do you want to work close to the business, make data-driven decisions, and influence the direction of well-known products on the Swedish market? As a Portfolio & Brand Manager here, you will have a central role where you both set the strategy and ensure it becomes reality. You will become a key player in our B2C operations, with a large mandate to prioritize correctly, challenge the status quo, and create a strong, relevant, and competitive portfolio for the future.
What you will do
In the role of Portfolio & Brand Manager, you are responsible for defining, developing, and driving category and portfolio strategy from analysis to implementation. You have clear business responsibility and work to ensure that the portfolio remains competitive, profitable, and relevant over time.
You work broadly, focusing on optimizing the portfolio through the right prioritizations, launches, and simplification of the business. You set the direction for assortment, pricing, and long-term development, and make data-driven decisions regarding which initiatives to drive, change, or phase out.
An important part of the role is to analyze the market, consumer, and competition to identify opportunities and risks. You then use these insights to create concrete business plans and activities. You work cross-functionally, close to both sales, production, purchasing, controlling, and activation teams to ensure implementation and results. You act as a link between functions and have regular contact with production through site visits.
The role also includes responsibility for brand strategy and guidelines, where you ensure consistent positioning. This is a role for you who wants to combine strategy and operational work, from business cases and pricing strategy to launches, design updates, and adaptations to new regulations.
You are part of the leadership group for Business to Consumer in Sweden and report to Elin Stoij - Business Director B2C at Lantmännen Cerealia. The position is located at Lantmännen's headquarters in Stadshagen, Stockholm.
What you need to succeed and thrive
You have:
- Experience in portfolio, category, or brand management within FMCG
- Experience working in a data-driven manner and turning insights into business decisions
- Good understanding of profitability, pricing, and financial follow-up
- Experience with the Swedish grocery retail industry
- Fluent Swedish and good knowledge of English
You are:
- Result-oriented and motivated by creating concrete business results
- Independent and confident in driving initiatives from analysis to implementation
- Relationship-building and skilled at getting different functions in the organization on board
- Analytical with a strong ability to turn insights into solutions
- Structured and good at prioritizing in a broad and dynamic role
