We develop, manage, and maintain a premises area of over 700,000 square meters, ranging from new advanced healthcare buildings to medieval castles. We also handle transportation and work with logistical solutions within Region Uppsala, as well as being responsible for meal services to inpatients. Most of our customers are in healthcare, and the largest customer is Akademiska sjukhuset. Transport and Logistics is a department within the Service Department, Region Uppsala. The department is responsible for various types of transport and service tasks within the region around the clock and consists of about 90 employees.

We are now looking for employees for hourly employment.

Your Mission

You will be responsible for service tasks within transport/logistics at Akademiska sjukhuset. We have varying working hours and varying tasks. Some of your tasks will include handling patient transport, supplies, textiles, waste, etc.

Your Qualifications:

Requirements:
• B driver's license
• Completed upper secondary education
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Good physical condition as the job requires heavy lifting and walking long distances.

Meritorious:
• C driver's license
• Forklift license

Your Competence

You are very service-minded and enjoy customer contacts. Since the job involves many social contacts, you must be socially outgoing and have a sense of providing good service. You are down-to-earth and have good collaboration skills as well as the ability to independently organize your daily work. You thrive in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment and enjoy juggling multiple tasks. Important for this position is that you are positive, meticulous, structured, flexible, and a problem solver. The computer and its systems are tools you use daily. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
