Material Handler for the War Reserve Section
We are now looking for a material handler for the War Reserve Section at the Logistics Unit of the Command Regiment in Enköping. Here you will work with materials that must function when it really matters – in everyday life, crises, and during heightened readiness. You will be part of the logistics chain that directly contributes to Sweden's operational capability.
About the Role
As a material handler, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and quality assuring the Armed Forces' materials and vehicles – equipment that must be in the right condition at the right time.
This is a practical and technical assignment where you make actual assessments, identify deficiencies, determine necessary actions, and ensure that the materials meet the specified requirements. Your efforts directly impact the units' capabilities.
The work is physically demanding and takes place both indoors and outdoors – year-round, in all weather conditions. You will handle heavy materials, work closely with technology, and need to be prepared to get your hands dirty! If you enjoy practical work and appreciate clear results from your efforts, you will feel at home here.
At the same time, computer work is a natural part of the job. You will document actions, perform record maintenance, and report in the Armed Forces' systems. The combination of practical work and structured administration is crucial in this role.

- Workshop or industry
- Automotive or automotive technology
- Mechanical professions
- Technical service or maintenance
- Machine or operations-related work
You are accustomed to working according to instructions, making assessments of condition and function, and taking responsibility for ensuring that equipment works as it should. Experience from practical and mechanical professions is particularly meritorious.
We are looking for someone who
- Has practical skills and technical interest
- Is confident in making technical assessments
- Enjoys physical work both indoors and outdoors
- Has good computer skills and works systematically in systems
- Has a strong safety awareness
- Takes responsibility and dares to act when something does not meet requirements
- Can work both independently and in a team
- Remains calm even when the pace is high
You do not need to know everything from the start – but you need to be willing to learn and work methodically.
Qualification Requirements
- Completed upper secondary education (3 years) or equivalent
- Class B driver's license (manual transmission)
- Good computer skills
- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
- Swedish citizenship
Meritorious
