Arena Oskarshamn Bad & Gym is looking for lifeguards who want to help create a safe, welcoming, and pleasant experience for our guests – every day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will meet a warm and lively operation with a fast pace, varied tasks, and strong teamwork. You will be part of a cheerful and committed team working towards common goals with the customer in focus. The work is physically demanding and takes place in an environment that can be warm, humid, and noisy.

The position involves shift work with weekend duties.

As a lifeguard, you are a key person in the daily work to ensure both safety and service in the facility. We strive to always have a complete, clean, and fresh facility, and you help make that possible.

Your tasks include, among others:

• ensuring a safe environment for our guests
• working at the reception, meeting visitors, and providing high-quality service
• performing cleaning and maintenance of the facility to keep it clean and fresh
• leading swimming school sessions (term-wise throughout the year) with your own swimming school groups
• leading water aerobics/group training sessions regularly
• participating in and conducting activities such as aroma sauna/aufguss
• contributing to a professional approach and good collaboration within the team

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who thrives in a service-oriented role where you can combine responsibility, safety, and educational efforts, while being part of a positive work group. To enjoy the role, we see that you are a team player who contributes to a good atmosphere and high quality in daily work. You are:

• attentive with good communication skills and enjoy making new contacts
• meticulous, goal-oriented, and take responsibility for your tasks
• proactive and motivated, with a desire to develop and contribute
• resilient and enjoy working at a fast pace
• flexible and easily adaptable when conditions change

Requirements:

• Driver's license B
• Trained swimming instructor via the Swedish Lifesaving Society (you lead your own swimming school groups term-wise)
• Trained water aerobics instructor (you lead your own sessions regularly)
• Good water familiarity and swimming ability
• Training in water rescue, CPR, and D-CPR
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English (spoken)

Meritorious:

• Other relevant language skills
• Experience from similar work or other service professions
