About the Role

Do you want to become a parking attendant and are looking for your next challenge? We at Securitas are now looking for you who want to be part of our close-knit team where we all have different personalities but share the same drive in work life, to make people feel safe. As a parking attendant, you will work with parking supervision on private and public land. Your responsibility is to promote traffic safety on the roads, increase traffic flow, and improve the living environment by ensuring that parking regulations are followed. You have a free job but with an important responsibility.

You will for example:

• Ensure that parking regulations are followed on private and public land
• Proactively assist our customers with parking-related questions

In this role, conflicts may arise, but fortunately, we have a strong community among us colleagues that helps us handle most situations and energize each other during shifts. Shifts: The shifts are scheduled for evenings and nights, and to some extent weekends. The position is a summer temporary position, so we hope you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities!

Requirements

It is advantageous if you have municipal parking attendant training, but it is not a requirement. If you are the right person for the job, we will train you! We also see that you have a high school education with passing grades in Swedish and English. Since you will be traveling between different locations in your role, a B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

If you have worked with similar tasks before, this is of course a strong merit. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position. We believe that you are a service-oriented, calm, and organized person who can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have passing grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
