About the Role

Are you looking for a job where you can make a difference in people's everyday lives? We at Securitas are currently looking for you who want to be part of us and work to increase security among our retail customers. As a store detective, you will work to prevent and deter shoplifting, theft, and loss in a retail environment. The role is varied, where one day is not like the other, as you will visit several different stores during your work shift. In the event of a crime, you intervene and then call the police to the scene.

You will for example:

• Conduct checks at our retail customers
• Collaborate with the police in the event of any crimes
• Work preventively by checking the stores' security work

The position suits you who are determined and not afraid to work in vulnerable environments. Often the role of store detective is flexible, allowing you to combine the work as a store detective with other tasks within Securitas if needed. Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license

It is an advantage if you

• Are a trained store detective
• Have previously worked with similar tasks

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you who are applying are an independent person and trust your own abilities, quickly understand problems, and solve them creatively. You have a systematic and thorough approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
