About the workplace

We offer you a paid introduction at the workplace, in a new well-equipped kitchen at Parkgården's nursing home.

Here, over 300 portions are prepared daily. The food is transported and served hot both to residents in the building and to those at Solängen, Dalängen, and Pomona.

Your tasks

We cook as much as possible from scratch and create our own menus. Together with other cooks in the kitchen, you will work on planning, purchasing, and producing lunch and dinner meals 7 days a week. Additionally, all tasks typical for a large kitchen are included, such as preparation and cooking of food, special diets and texture adaptations, food safety and documentation, logistics, as well as dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in large kitchens is required. Experience with public meals is preferred.
• A completed high school education in restaurant and food programs or equivalent knowledge as assessed by the employer.
• You have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience with senior meals is an advantage.
• A driver's license and experience driving transport vehicles is desirable.
