At Alleima, we work with materials that shape the future. Our PU Nuclear unit delivers pipes made of advanced stainless steel and special alloys to customers in sustainable energy production. We are now looking for a curious and dedicated testing technician to join a smaller team with extensive contact areas within the organization.

Your Role

As a Testing Technician with us, you will be part of the quality organization and play an important role in delivery testing. The position is daytime-based at the Västra verken site.

Common tasks include:

• Conducting thorough delivery tests and managing associated administrative tasks to ensure our products meet customer requirements.
• Performing various types of destructive testing, with a particular focus on corrosion testing. Some testing techniques involve heavy lifting.
• Conducting quality reviews to ensure our processes and products meet established requirements.
• Actively contributing to continuous improvement efforts, both in daily work and from a long-term perspective.
• Supporting the technical department with testing related to qualifications and quality investigations.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a technical high school education or equivalent. Experience in material testing and quality assurance is considered a merit.

We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities, characterized by being meticulous, detail-oriented, and curious with a strong desire to understand and learn new things. You enjoy working in a team, appreciate variety, and are also self-driven with the ability to take initiative. You work in a structured and efficient manner to achieve set goals and contribute to improved results. Furthermore, you ask relevant questions to create a deeper understanding of processes and materials and have a drive that makes you actively seek solutions and development opportunities.

Since we work with international customers in a global corporation, you need to be fluent in Swedish and have basic knowledge of English.
