You will belong to a smaller team that has the important task of ensuring that our business receives the right products and services at the right time. The team is based at the head office in Sandviken but supports all business areas of the organization.

You work closely with both colleagues and suppliers, follow up on orders, and contribute to keeping costs down and quality up. Your main responsibilities will include:

·       Requesting and comparing quotes

·       Making purchases from the company's suppliers

·       Checking order confirmations and quotes to ensure correct terms

·       Managing and following up on delivery times and manufacturing times

·       Following up on deliveries to ensure that times and quality are maintained

·       Setting up new products and updating information in the purchasing system and registers

·       Administering contracts, purchasing documents, and supplier data

·       Maintaining ongoing contact with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and simpler questions

·       Handling deviations, complaints, and delivery issues in dialogue with internal functions

·       Collaborating with projects, sales, finance, and administration to ensure correct needs and orders.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of buyer, we believe you have:

·       A high school education, preferably with a focus on economics

·       Knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital competence

·       Experience and/or a good understanding of the tasks of a buyer

·       Advanced language skills in Swedish and basic level in English

·       A valid B driver's license

·       Experience working in a student company is considered an advantage

Since Promoteq delivers solutions within security and defense, it would be beneficial if you have gained some understanding of the industry, for example, a connection to healthcare, security, or defense, but this is not a requirement.
