The elderly care is the largest area of the Social Administration, responsible for special housing, group housing, short-term housing, home care, family support, meeting places, and authority handling. Elefanten is located in central Oskarshamn and consists of several special housing facilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a nursing assistant consists of implementing approved care and service measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and health care measures according to the Health Care Act (HSL).

Together with other staff, you are responsible for ensuring that the residents receive care, support, and service. You contribute to activation and rehabilitation based on the individual's conditions. By delegation from licensed personnel, you perform medical tasks. You participate in business development, quality assurance, and competence development.

The value base in the Social Services Act is an important tool in our workgroup. Our starting point is always the individual and their well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and have experience from similar activities. As a person, you are characterized by openness, security, and a professional demeanor. An analytical ability combined with a positive attitude is important in the role. Being able to see both the whole and each individual's conditions and needs is an obvious part of the work. We value responsiveness, good collaboration skills, and that you thrive in an environment characterized by a fast pace and joy at work.

You have good computer skills. You master the Swedish language well, both orally and in writing.
