Foundry Worker at Befesa Circular Alloys!

Foundry worker is the job title and the company is Befesa Circular Alloys, which recycles metals from flue dust!

As a foundry worker, you will be at the tapping of our materials; every other hour we tap and produce our final product, which is then sent back to the customer for the manufacturing of new stainless steel.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure that the entire process is carried out as smoothly as possible.

In a solid protective uniform, you will work in pairs to open the furnace with molten metal at temperatures up to 1700 degrees. Together, you will ensure that the metals flow and separate into metal and slag, and samples will also be taken for the lab department with each tapping.

After the furnace is closed, you will clean the residual products in the molds. This job is physically demanding, and it is important to think about ergonomics.

Throughout the process, you as a foundry worker need to maintain a high level of safety awareness and follow the restrictions in place to avoid injuries.

You will work in a team of 8 people on a favorable shift schedule, with a total of 6 teams in the facility.

All parts of the process are equally important; the job requires teamwork with respect for each other and the other teams working in the facility.
